RedSprout Intelligence is a reporting dashboard run by RedSprout Digital ("we", "us"). This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Who can use RedSprout Intelligence

RedSprout Intelligence is for RedSprout Digital clients and our team. Access is by invitation only. Our clients are based in India, the United Kingdom and Australia.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name and email address, so you can sign in and we know which business you belong to.
  • Google data, with your permission: when a Google account is connected, we read reporting data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Ads, plus the Google account's email address so you can see which account is connected. We ask Google for read-only access to Search Console and Google Analytics. Google Ads only offers one type of access, but we only read data: we never create, change or delete campaigns, ads, budgets or settings.
  • Website uptime checks: for the websites you ask us to monitor, we regularly check whether the site is up, how quickly it responds and the status it returns.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to show reports about your own business: how your website performs in search, your website traffic, your ad results and whether your website is online. We also use your email address to send sign-in links and messages about your account.

How we use Google user data

  • We use data from Google APIs only to show you reports inside RedSprout Intelligence.
  • We do not sell Google user data.
  • We do not share Google user data with anyone else, except where needed to run the service (for example, our hosting and database providers), to comply with the law, or with your permission.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to build profiles of people.
  • No person reads Google user data unless you ask us to (for example, for support), or the law requires it.

RedSprout Intelligence's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we keep it safe

  • Your data is stored with Supabase, our database provider. Access is checked on our servers and inside the database, so each person only sees the businesses they are allowed to see.
  • Google access tokens are encrypted at rest. They are never shown in the app or written to logs.

Your choices

  • Disconnect anytime: a connected Google account can be disconnected at any time. You can also remove our access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When Google access is removed, we stop collecting new data from that account.
  • Ask for deletion: email hello@redsproutdigital.com to ask us to delete your account or your data. We will confirm when it is done.
  • See or correct your data: email us and we will tell you what we hold about you and fix anything that is wrong.

Depending on where you live (for example, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the UK GDPR or the Australian Privacy Act), you may have further rights. Email us and we will help.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you are a RedSprout Digital client. When you stop being a client, or ask us to delete it, we delete it unless the law requires us to keep something for longer.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is important, we will tell you by email.
